2. Multiplication with average CO₂ emissions per shipping country
3. Result: Total amount of emissions to be offset

2. Purchase of emission allowances (VERs)

1. ClimatePartner buys Verified Emission Reductions (VERs)
2. These come from verified climate protection projects
3. They prove that emissions have been reduced, avoided or removed

3. Issue of certificates

1. ClimatePartner issues official offset certificates
2. These confirm the compensated CO₂ quantity for the customer
