How does the TimeDefiniteService differ from classic express shipping with GLS?
The TimeDefiniteService enables a exact delivery timewhile classic express delivery (ExpressParcel) only guarantees delivery on the next working day.
Difference briefly explained:
- TimeDefiniteService: Delivery at fixed time slots (e.g. before 8:00, 10:00 or 12:00)
- ExpressParcel: Delivery on the next working day without an exact time window
In addition, the TimeDefiniteService offers more planning security as well as extras such as shipment tracking, proof of delivery and real-time notifications.
